Why Lancaster Is the Ultimate Girls' Trip

Group sessions run two and a half hours or more for up to four people, right here at my home studio in Lancaster. For something a little more art-forward, Lancaster Arts Hotel is a converted 1800s tobacco warehouse turned gallery, with local art throughout, free bikes, and a short walk into downtown. And if your crew wants to build in some serious shopping time, staying near Tanger Outlets gives you easy access to bargain hunting before or after your session (pair it with The Shops at Rockvale right nearby for a full outlet day).
Where to eat
Start the morning with brunch at Prince Street Cafe or Rachel's Café and Creperie if you're in the mood for something a little Parisian. After your session, when everyone's riding the high of their reveal, head to Belvedere Inn or Luca for an elevated dinner or Tellus360 if you want a livelier night out. And if you want a rooftop view to go with your cocktails, The Exchange is the move.
Where to shop
Lancaster City is stacked with independent boutiques, and once you know your colors, shopping turns into a whole different sport (in the best way). Wander the shops on the 300 block of N. Queen Street, pop into The Bloom Room and check out Building Character for something you won't see on anyone else. Fourteenth Boutique carries beautiful clothing and is located near Lancaster Central Market which is a must see. It's the oldest continuously operating farmers market in the country and a great stop for gifts, flowers, and snacks for the road.
Something fun to close the night
If your group wants to keep the energy going, Decades has bowling and retro arcade games for a low-key, high-laughter kind of night. Prefer something a little more mellow? A paint night at Pottery Works is a sweet way to wind down together.
